Luggage is a three piece band from Chicago, Illinois who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Luggage play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post rock, grunge, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Luggage can be loosely compared to bands such as Unwound, Slint, Rodan, Sonic Youth, My Disco, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Luggage have released an eight song LP titled Sun in March of 2016 and a ten song LP titled Three in October of 2017. Shift is the band's latest LP, which is slated for release via Corpse Flower records on November 22nd, 2019. On Shift, Luggage offer up eight tracks of tense, discordant, and moody minimalist post rock, grunge, and noise rock. Overall, Shift makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.
