Altair is a five piece band from Madrid, Spain who formed in 2016. Altair play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post rock, hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo within their sound. Musically, Altair can be loosely compared to Funeral Diner, Standstill, Todos Caeran, The Saddest Landscape, old Pianos Become The Teeth, We Were Skeletons, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Altair have released a seven song EP titled I in January of 2017 and a four song EP titled La herida renace en tus manos in January of 2018. Nuestro enemigo is the band's latest LP, which was released on November 17th, 2019. On Nuestro enemigo, Altair offer up nine tracks of tense, dark, and atmospheric sounding post hardcore, post rock, hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo. Overall, Nuestro enemigo, makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
