Vesperine is a five piece band from Lyon, France who formed in January of 2013. Vesperine play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post metal, post rock, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Vesperine can be loosely compared to bands such as Death Engine, Wren, Coilguns, Old Man Gloom, Amen Ra, Isis, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2013, Vesperine have released a three song EP titled Parmi Les Autres in September of 2015. Espérer Sombre is the band's latest LP, which was released via Abstrusa Unde, Orakle, Wheelfall, and Zapruder records on March 22nd, 2019. On Espérer Sombre, Vesperine offer up seven tracks of Brutal, ominous, and oppressive sounding post hardcore, post metal, post rock, and noise rock. Overall, Espérer Sombre makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
