Shadow Snakes is a four piece band from Syracuse, New York and
Louisville, Kentucky who formed in late 2017, from the looks of things.
I'm absolutely gushing about this band right now because Shadow Snakes
is essentially comprised of 3/4 of the band Ed Gein and the lead singer
from Breather Resist. Going on that pedigree alone, you know you're in
for some really amazing jams. Shadow Snakes play an amazing style of
music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise
rock within their sound. Musically, Shadow Snakes can be loosely
compared to bands such as Achilles, Engineer, Brain Banger, Suicide
Note, Coalesce, Deadguy, Kiss It Goodbye, Bone Dance and other
like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Shadow Snakes have released a self-titled LP in August of 2018. Bad At Parties is the band's latest EP, which was
released on October 19th, 2019. On Bad At Parties, Shadow
Snakes offer up four tracks of filthy, blown-out, and ultra negative
sounding hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock. Overall, Bad At Parties makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
