Reflex Machine is a three piece band from Columbus, Ohio who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Reflex Machine play a really unique and interesting style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, sludge, noise rock, and avant-garde/sci-fi inspired metal. Musically, Reflex Machine cite Sumac, Neurosis, ISIS, Old Man Gloom, Melvins, Mastodon, and At the Drive-In, which definitely shows up in the band's sound in style. Since forming in 2016, Reflex Machine have released a four song EP titled Love As A Contronym in March of 2017 and a split with Ghost Embryo in September of 2017. Interzone is the band's latest LP, which was released on September 6th, 2019. On Interzone, Reflex Machine offer up nine tracks of post metal, sludge, noise rock, and avant-garde/sci-fi metal. Overall, Interzone makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
