Moratorium is a four piece band from Ottawa, Ontario who formed in 2018, from the looks of things. Moratorium play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, crust, sludge, and powerviolence within their sound. Musically, Moratorium can be loosely compared to bands such as Baptists, Cursed, Geist, Jesus Piece, and other like-minded bands. Night Mothers is the band's debut EP, which was released via Walk A Mile records on October 25th, 2019. On Night Mothers, Moratorium offer up five tracks of hardcore, punk, metal, crust, sludge, and powerviolence. The song Night Mothers also features guest vocals from Cursed, Countdown To Oblivion, The Swarm, Living Darkness, Burning Love, and Sect's Chris Colohan. Overall, Night Mothers makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
