Gattaca is a five piece band from the Czech Republic who formed in 2009. Gattaca play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and crust within their sound. Musically, Gattaca can be said to be influenced by bands such as Tragedy, His Hero Is Gone, Cursed, and The Holy Mountain. Since their inception in 2009, Gattaca have released a self-titled four sonf demo in October of 2009, a split 12" with Clamant! in July of 2010, a split 7" with Flowers For Whores in December of 2011, a split 12" with Axidance in January of 2012, a four song self-titled 7" in October of 2012, a self-titled six song 12" in July of 2015, and a split EP with Rosa Parks in April of 2017.. Monumenty Selhání is Gattaca's latest six song 12", which was released via Contraszt!, Music For Liberation, and Rope Or Guillotine records on October 1st, 2019. On Monumenty Selhání , Gattaca offer up six new tracks of blackened, metallic, and crust tinged modern hardcore that's an absolute must listen for fans of Jungbluth, Centuries, Baptists, and Seizures. Overall, this is a killer 12" and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
