Calf is a three piece band from Karditsa, Greece who formed in 2008, from the looks of things. Calf play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Calf can be said to be influenced by bands such as Unwound, Slint, Melvins, Jesus Lizard, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Calf have released a four song EP titled A Constant Loss Departs From The Sentiment Of The Abandoned in June of 2012, a full length LP titled Bastards Anatomy Use A Unicorn Go To Apathy in July of 2014, a split with Uncle Grasha's Flying Circus and a live 12" titled Evil Solos Deified Mom Dad Defied in April of 2017. This is the band's latest EP, which was released via Sweet Ohm recordings on September 22nd, 2019. On their latest EP, Calf offer up three tracks of tense, unsettling, and discordant post hardcore, punk, and noise rock. Overall, Calf''s latest EP makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
