Wreck And Reference is a two piece band from Los Angeles, California who formed in 2010. Wreck And Reference play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, noise rock, dark wave, drone, and electronic within their sound. Since forming in 2010, Wreck And Reference have released a six song EP titled The Black Cassette in February of 2011, a ten song LP titled No Youth in April of 2012, a two song 7" titled No Content in Amy of 2013, an eleven song LP titled Want in June of 2014, a 75 song LP titled Spill/Fill in June of 2014, a ten song LP titled Indifferent Rivers Romance End in July of 2016, and a four song EP titled Alien Pains in April of 2018. Absolute Still Life is Wreck And Reference's latest LP, which was released via The Flenser records on July 19th, 2019. On Absolute Still Life, Wreck And Reference offer up ten tracks of dark and moody sounding post metal, dark wave, drone, electronic, and industrial.
