Necking is a four piece band from Vancuver, British Columbia who formed in 2017. Necking play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, punk, grunge, and noise pop within their sound. Musically, Necking can be loosely compared to bands such as Potty Mouth, Empath, Control Top, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Necking have released a five song EP titled Meditation Tape in November of 2017. Cut Your Teeth is the band's debut LP, which was released via Mint records on July 5th, 2019. On Cut Your Teeth, Necking offer up nine tracks of tense, discordant, and catchy as hell sounding post punk, punk, grunge, and noise pop.
