Vampyre is a three piece band from Austin, Texas who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Vampyre play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, metal, grunge, sludge, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Vampyre can be loosely compared to bands such as Fight Amp, Buildings, Bummer, Tongue Party, Cellos, Whores, War Brides, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Vampyre have released a self-titled EP in June of 2016, a three song EP titled Death Dream Kingdom in July of 2016, and a ten song LP titled Hot Ears in September of 2017. Other Growths is the band's latest LP, which was released on April 3rd, 2019. On Other Growths, Vampyre offer up seven tracks of killer post hardcore, punk, metal, grunge, sludge, and noise rock. Overall, Other Growths makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
