Death Cults is a four piece band from New York City who formed in 2017, from the looks of things. Death Cults features members of Pilot To Gunner, I Hat Our Freedom, Primitive Weapons, and Hunters, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Death Cults play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of 90's influenced DC post hardcore, punk, and alt. rock within their sound. Musically, Death Cults can be loosely compared to bands such as Jawbox, Kerosene 454, Hoover, Burning Airlines, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Death Cults have released a two song 7" titled Resurrection/Burn To Shine in February of 2019. This is the band's debut LP, which was released via Arctic Rodeo records on June 28th, 2019. On their debut LP, Death Cults offer up eight tracks of killer post hardcore, punk, and alt. rock. Overall, Death Cult's debut LP makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
