Detach The Islands is a five piece band from Brooklyn, New York who formed in 2017, from the looks of things. Detach The Islands play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metalcore, emoviolence, powerviolence, and grindcore within their sound. Musically, Detach The Islands can be loosely compared to bands such as PG. 99, Circle Takes The Square, Cerce, Dillinger Escape Plan, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Detach The Islands have released a four song EP titled Phantom In Frame in February of 2018. The Burden To Become Fact is the band's debut LP, which was released via Dental Records on July 5th, 2019. On The Burden To Become Fact, Detach The Islands offer up ten tracks of chaotic and volatile sounding hardcore, punk, metalcore, emoviolence, powerviolence, and grindcore.
