Halshug is a three piece band from Copenhagen, Denmark in 2012. Halshug play a blistering, dark, and raw style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat within their sound. Musically, Halshug can be said to be influenced by bands such as Anti-Climex, Discharge, Infernoh, Death Token, and Hoax. Since forming in 2013, Halshug have released a four song EP titled Dodsknotrol in June of 2013, an eight song LP titled Blodets Band in February of 2015, and a nine song LP titled Sort Sind in September of 2016. Drøm is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Southern Lord records on July 19th, 2019. On Drøm, Halshug offer up ten tracks of blistering, raw, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore/punk. Overall, Drøm is an amazing album and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
