Exhalants are a three piece band from Austin, Texas who formed in 2017. Exhalants play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Exhalants can be loosely compared to bands such as Drive Like Jehu, War Brides, Whores, Hoover, Slint, Unwound, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Exhalants have released a five song demo titled Democore in October of 2017, a self-titled LP in August of 2018, and a split EP with Pinko in November of 2018. Trample The Cross Underfoot is the band's debut full-length EP, which was released on May 3rd, 2019. On Trample The Cross Underfoot, Exhalants offer up six tracks of discordant and tense sounding post hardcore, punk, and noise rock. Overall, Trample The Cross Underfoot makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
