Here's a killer split featuring new material from Italy's Shizune and
NYC's Lytic. Shizune is a five piece hardcore, punk, and screamo band
from Lonigo,
Vicenza, Italy who formed in 2012. Shizune play a classic sounding
style of screamo tinged hardcore influenced by bands such as Funeral
Diner, The Saddest Landscape, La Quiete, and Raein. Shizune's sound is
tense, angular, discordant, and volatile as fuck. On their side of the
split, Shizune offer up two tracks of tense, angular, and volatile
sounding post hardcore, punk, and screamo. The next three songs on the
split come courtesy of Lytic. Lytic is a two piece band from NYC who
formed in 2017, from the looks of things. Lytic features members of Off
Minor and Saetia, so going on that alone, you know you're in for some
truly amazing tunes. Lytic play a killer style of music that
incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence. On
their side of the split, Lytic offer up three tracks of volatile and
chaotic as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence.
Overall, this is split makes for an amazing listen and definitely should
not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy! This split was released
via Zegema Beach records on January 8th, 2019.
