Overo is a four piece band from Houston, Texas who formed in 2018, from the looks of things. Overo features members of Perfect Future and Football, Etc, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Overo play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo within their sound. Musically, Overo can be loosely compared to bands such as Old Gray, older Pianos Become The Teeth, Loma Prieta, Life At These Speeds, Sinaloa, and other like-minded bands. Siince forming in 2018, Overo have released a two song EP titled Cold Concrete./Shattered in January of 2019 This is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Middle-Man records on June 13th, 2019. On their self-titled debut, Overo offer up nine tracks of killer post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo. Overall, Overo's debut LP makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.
