Blue Youth is a three piece band from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada who formed in late 2016, from the looks of things. Blue Youth play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Blue Youth can be loosely compared to bands such as Drive Like Jehu, Science Of Yabra, Haymarket Riot, Hot Snakes, Shotmaker, The Holy Shroud, The Plan, Unwound, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2016, Blue Youth have released a self-titled EP in May of 2017 and a self-titled full-length LP in June of 2018. Deaf Mode/Two Faces is the band's latest EP which was released on June 18th, 2019. These two new songs are from a forthcoming release via Zegema Beach and Grind Central records later this summer On their latest EP, Blue Youth offer up two tracks of tense and discordant post hardcore, punk and noise rock. Overall, Deaf Mode/Two Faces is a killer EP and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
