Absolut is a band based out of Toronto, Ontario who formed in January of 2013. Abolut play a devastatingly brutal style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat within their sound. Musically, Absolut can be loosely compared to bands such as Vaaska, Oiltanker, Symptom, and No Power. Since forming in 2013, Absolut have released a six song demo in January of 2013, a nine song LP titled Punk Survival in January of 2014, a split 7" with Sweden's Paranoid in January of 2015, a thirteen song LP titled Hell's Highest Power in January of 2015, and a split with Svaveldioxid in May of 2016. 2019 Demonstration-Denver Edition is Absolut's latest demo EP, which was on June 13th, 2019. On their latest demo, Absolut offer up four tracks of devastating, scathing, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat. Overall, Absolut's latest demo makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Great stuff! Enjoy!
