Pitiless is a band from Toronto, Ontario who formed in 2018, from the looks of things. Pitiless features members of Ancress, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Pitiless play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of death metal and grindcore within their sound. Musically, Pitiless can be loosely compared to bands such as Fulgora, Misery Index, Pig Destroyer, Atrament, and other like-minded bands. Amaranthine is the band's debut EP, which was released on May 21st, 2019. On Amaranthine, Pitiless offer up four tracks of brutal, filthy, and vicious as fuck sounding death metal and grindcore as well as a cover of Terrorizer's Human Prey. Overall, Amaranthine makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
