Here's a killer split featuring new music from OH's For Your Health and PA's Shin Guard. For Your Health is a band from Columbus, Ohio based band who formed in 2018, from the looks of things. For Your Health play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, noise punk, and screamo within their sound. Musically, For Your Health can be loosely compared to bands such as Ink And Dagger, Fear Before The March Of Flames, early Blood Brothers, Some Girls, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2018, For Your Health haver released a seven song EP titled Nosebleeds in January of 2019. On their side of the split, For Your Health Offer up five tracks of volatile and chaotic sounding hardcore, noise punk, and screamo. Next up is Shin Guard. Shin Guard is a four piece band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania who formed in 2017. Shin Guard play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence within their sound. Musically, Shin Guard can be loosely compared to bands such as Old Gray, Pyramids, Mahria, Weak Teeth, Loma Prieta, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Shin Guard have released a four song EP titled Five Songs in December of 2017, a digital single titled Definitely in September of 2018, an eight song LP titled Cerebral in October of 2018, and an eight song LP titled 2020 in February of 2019. On their side of the split Shin Guard offer up four tracks of tense, chaotic, and volatile sounding post hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence.
