Witchtrial is a three piece band from Washington, DC who formed in early 2017, from the looks of things. Witchtrial play a raw, scathing, and brutal style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and metal within their sound. Musically, Witchtrial can be loosely compared to bands such as Genocide Pact, Impalers, Churchwhip, Doomriders, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Witchtrial have released a self-titled demo in July of 2017. This is the band's debut LP, which was released via Beach Impediment Records on April 22nd, 2019. On their self-titled debut, Witchtrial offer up six tracks of scathing and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, and metal. Overall, this is a really solid LP and definitely should not be missed.
