Something Is Waiting is a four piece band from Chicago, Illinois who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Something Is Waiting features a who's who of amazing Chicago bands including Jar'd Loose, Lone Wolf And Cub, and Barren Heir. Something Is Waiting play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of metal, grunge, noise rock, and sludge within their sound. Musically, Something Is Waiting can be loosely compared to bands such as The Melvins, Suicide Note, Sweet Cobra, War Brides, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Something Is Waiting have released a full-length LP titled The Something Is Waiting Band in July of 2016. Songs Foe The Sally Beauty Pavilion is the band's second LP, which is slated for release via Learning Curve records on April 25th, 2019. On Songs For The Sally Beauty Pavilion, Something Is Waiting offer up eight tracks of dirty and blown-out metal, grunge, noise rock, and sludge.
