L.O.T.I.O.N. is an NYC based band who formed in 2013, from the looks of
things. L.O.T.I.O.N. play a killer style of music that incorporates
elements of hardcore, punk, industrial, and noise rock within their
sound. The thing that really sets L.O.T.I.O.N. apart from other
hardcore bands is that they have a really cool late 80's Wax Traxx vibe,
that gives the band's sound a really claustrophobic, tense, and
anxious/jittery vibe. As far as influences go, I'm at a loss for words,
but let's just say that L.O.T.I.O.N.'s sound is completely unhinged and
off the hook. World Wide W.E.B. is L.O.T.I.O.N.'s latest full-length LP, which was released via Toxic Shock records on April 19th, 2019. On their latest full-length LP,
L.O.T.I.O.N. offer up nine tracks of caustic sounding hardcore/punk
with a cold, sterile electronic vibe. Overall, World Wide W.E.B. is a killer LP and should not be missed. Highly
recommended! Enjoy!
