Dread State is a Roanoke, Virginia who formed in 2018, from the looks of things. Dread State features members of Step It Off and Human Infection. Dread State play a vicious and brutal style of metallic hardcore. Musically, Dread State can be loosely compared to bands such as Integrity, Infest, Negative Approach, Left For Dead, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2018, Dread State have released a five song demo titled State Of Intent in April of 2018. Maimed is the band's latest EP, which was released on March 26th, 2019. On Maimed, Dread State offer up five tracks of brutal as fuck sounding metallic hardcore. Overall, Maimed makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
