Membrane is a three piece band from Vesoul, France who formed in 2000. Membrane play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, sludge, metal, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Membrane can be loosely compared to bands such as Helms Alee, Great Falls, The Catalyst, Young Widows, Unsane, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2000, Membrane have released a five song EP titled Corrosion in December of 2001, a three song EP titled Stage Box in January of 2003, a six song LP titled Utility Of Useless Things in September of 2004, an eight song LP titled A Story Of Blood And Violence in February of 2007, a nine song LP titled Disaster in January of 2010, a cover of Tantrum's Anita in December of 2010, a split with Sofy Major in November of 2011, a six song LP titled Reflect Your Pain in April of 2015, a split 7" with Revok in October of 2016, a three song EP titled Erase in April of 2017, and a six song live LP in June of 2017. Burn Your Bridges is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released on February 11th, 2019. On Burn Your Bridges, Membrane offer up seven tracks of killer post hardcore, punk, sludge, metal, and noise rock.
