Hyena is a band from Atlanta, Georgia who formed in 2017, from the looks of things. Hyena features members of Mercenary, Bukkake Boys, Carbonas, and a bunch of other Atlanta based bands. Hyena play a scathing and vicious as fuck style of no-frills/bare bones hardcore/punk. Musically, Hyena can be loosely compared to bands such as Sunshine Ward, Hoax, Gag, The Lowest Form, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Hyena have released a self-titled demo in May of 2017, and a second demo in august of 2018. This is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Bloody Master records on February 7th, 2019. On their self-titled debut, Hyena offer up fifteen tracks of scathing and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore/punk. Overall, Hyena's debut LP makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
