Hot Damn! I'm completely stoked and honored to be the 1st blog to offer an exclusive preview of Tampa, FL's dirty, noise damaged terror unit Vacancy's new preview EP Ache for your listening pleasure. For those of you in the dark, Vacancy is a three piece band from Tampa, Florida who formed in October
of 2016. Vacancy play a killer style of music that incorporates
elements of hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock within
their sound. Musically, Vacancy can be loosely compared to bands such as Bummer, Whores, Bardus, Unsane, Fight Amp, Pissed Jeans, and Hawks.
Since forming in 2016, Vacancy have released a two song demo in April of
2017 and a five song EP titled Empty Head in August of 2017. Ache is the band's latest three song EP, which was released on 2/1/2018. On Ache, Vacancy
offer up three tracks of dirty, ugly, scuzzy, and blown-out sounding hardcore,
punk, sludge, and noise rock. Overall, Ache makes for an amazing
listen! Seriously, If Ache is any indication of how good their debut full-length is going to be, I'm seriously going to be adding Vacancy's new LP to my best of year-end list for 2019! Enjoy!
