Stove is a four piece band from Newtown, CT who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Stove features members of Ovlov, so going on that alone, you know you're in for a special treat. Stove play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of indie rock, alt. rock, and shoegaze within their sound. Musically, Stove can be loosely compared to bands such as Yuck, Swirlies, Estates, Built To Spill, Guided By Voices, Codeine, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Stove has released an LP and two EPs. 's Favorite Friend is the band's latest LP, which was released via Exploding In Sound records on October 31st, 2018. On 's Favorite Friend, Stove offer up eleven tracks of hazy, dreamy, and infectiously catchy sounding indie rock, alt. rock, and shoegaze. Overall, 's Favorite Friend makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
