Hollow Leg is a four piece band from Deland and Jacksonville, FL who formed in 2008. Hollow Leg play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, doom, sludge, and post metal within their sound. Musically, Hollow Leg can be said to be influenced by bands such as Eyehategod, Threadbare, Buzzoven, Neurosis, Bloodlet, Deadguy, and other like-minded bands. Since their inception in 2008, Hollow Leg have released a ten song LP titled Instinct in November of 2010, an eight song LP titled Abysmal in July of 2013, a single titled God-Eater in March of 2014, a seven song LP titled Crown in March of 2016, and EP titled Murder in April of 2017. Civilizations is the band's latest LP, which was released via Argonauta records on January 25th, 2019. On Civilizations, Hollow Leg offer up nine tracks dirty and heavy as fuck sounding doom, sludge, and post metal. Overall, Civilizations makes for an amazing listen and should not be missed.
