Skrawl is a three piece band from Rhode Island who formed in early 2018, from the looks of things. Skrawl play a raw and filthy style of informed black metal. Musically, Skrawl can be loosely compared to bands as Cytorrak, Scum Sect, Inverser, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2018, Skrawl have released a self-titled cassette in March of 2018 and a second cassette titled Brotuer Butchers Brother later in 2018. Nil is the band's latest EP, which was released via Knife Vision records on January 14th, 2019. On Nil, Skrawl offer up six tracks of raw, filthy, and ugly punk tinged black metal. Overall, Nil makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
