Plagues is a four piece band from California who formed in 2011. Plagues play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of dark/metallic hardcore, punk, and powerviolence. Musically, Plagues can be loosely compared to bands such as Tragedy, Cursed, All Pigs Must Die, Weekend Nachos, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2011, Plagues have released a three song EP titled
I: Age Of Viral Origin in February of 2012 and a six song EP titled Perfect State in June of 2013. I is the band's debut LP, which was released on November 23rd, 2018. On I, Plagues offer up ten tracks of dark and vicious as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, and powerviolence. Overall, I makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.
