Politess is a four piece band from Drummondville, Quebec who formed in October of 2012. Politess play a scathing and unhinged style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and grindcore within their sound. Politess' sound can be said to be described as being influenced by bands on the 31G records roster such as Locust or Retox if those bands were filtered through the hardcore/screamo/grindcore sounds of bands such as Orchid, Graf Orlock, or Jerome's Dream. These combinations of sound and styles makes for a forward-thinking and difficult to describe style of music. Since forming in 2012, Politess have released a six song EP titled EP 2012 in October of 2012 and a self-titled LP in May of 2015. Il ne fait pas froid dans l'alphabet is Politess' latest EP, which was released on December 3rd, 2018. On Il ne fait pas froid dans l'alphabet, Politess offer up six tracks of brutal as fuck, scathing, and completely unhinged hardcore, punk, screamo, and grindcore.
