Slush is a four piece band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Slush play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk, grunge, garage rock, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Slush can be loosely compared to bands such as Big Thief, Nopes, Hawks, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Slush have released a sixteen song LP titled Lunch in September of 2015, a fifteen song LP titled Brunch in January of 2016, a thirteen song LP titled Smellmop Who? in May of 2016, a nine song EP titled Life Is A Dump in September of 2016, a five song EP titled Now That's A School Project in November of 2016, and an eleven song EP titled Frog Water in May of 2017. Birthday Breakfast 2001 is the band's latest EP, which was released on July 13th, 2018. On Birthday Breakfast 2001, Slush offer up ten tracks of weirdo/off-kilter punk,. grunge, garage rock, and noise rock. Overall, Birthday Breakfast 2001 makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
