Sulaco is a four piece band from Rochester, NY who formed in 2002. Sulaco play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, death metal, doom, grindcore, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Sulaco can be loosely compared to band such as Playing Enemy. Suicide Note, Breather Resist, Nora, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2002, Sulaco have released a self-titled EP in June of 2003, a split 7" with Soilent Green in March of 2006, a thirteen song LP titled Tearing Through The Roots in August of 2006, a seven song LP titled Build And Burn in October of 2011, and a two song EP titled Archetypical Interpretations From The Prize Sessions in August of 2018. The Prize is the band's latest LP, which was released on August 17th, 2018. On The Prize, Sulaco offer up six tracks of chaotic and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, death metal, doom, grindcore, and noise rock. Overall, The Prize makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
