GELD is a Melbourne, Australia based band, featuring members of Kromosom and Power who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. GELD play a swirling and chaotic style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat. Musically, GELD can be loosely compared to bands such as Churchwhip, Impalers, No Power, Hoax, and other like-minded bands. Since their formation GELD have released a ten track LP titled Perfect Texture in March of 2018, Soft Power is the band's latest EP which was released via Iron Lung records on August 31st, 2018. On Soft Power, GELD offer up four tracks of psychedelic/swirling outsider hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat. Overall, Soft Power makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.
