Sandrider is a three piece band from Seattle, Washington, who formed in 2011. Sandrider features members of Akimbo, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Sandrider plays a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, stoner metal, grunge, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Sandrder can be loosely compared to bands such as early Torche, Helms Alee, Big Business, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2011, Sandrider have released a self-titled LP in December of 2011, a ten song LP titled Godhead in November of 2013, and a split LP with Kinski in February of 2015. Armada is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Good To Die records on July 20th, 2018. On Armada, Sandrider offer up ten tracks of sludgy and dirty post hardcore, stoner metal, grunge, and noise rock. Overall, Armada makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.
