Hymnless is a four piece band from Jonestown, Pennsylvania who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Hymnless play a tense and discordant of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo within their sound. Musically, Hymnless can be loosely compared to bands such as City Of Caterpillar, Funeral Diner, Caravels, early Pianos Become The Teeth, Old Gray, and Suis La Lune. Since forming in 2016, Hymnless have released a split EP with Cogley in August of 2016, and a three song EP titled Guide Me in June of 2017. Distress is the band's latest EP, which was released on May 4th, 2018. On Distress, Hymnless offer up five tracks of tense and discordant post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo. Overall, Distress makes for a killer listen and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
