Here's a cool split featuring new material from Wisconsin's Snag and New Zeland's Swallows Nest. Snag is a four piece band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who formed in early
2017, from the looks of things. Snag play a killer style of music that
incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, screamo, and emo within their
sound. Musically, Snag can be loosely compared to early 2000's
Ebullition records style screamo bands such as Torches To Rome, Bread
And Circuits, Amber Inn, as well as more modern style emotive
hardcore/screamo bands such as The Saddest Landscape, We Were Skeletons,
and Old Gray. On their side of the split, Snag offer up one track of killer hardcore, punk, screamo. The second two songs on the split comes courtesy of New Zealand based Swallows
Nest. Swallows Nest play a killer style of post hardcore, punk and
screamo. On their side of the split, Swallows Nest offer up two tracks
of brutal sounding post hardcore, punk, and screamo. Overall, this is an awesome split and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy! This split was released on cassette via Zegema Beach records on April 23rd, 2018
