LOGGERHEAD is a musical project from Muscle Shoals, Alabama who started out in early 2018, from the looks of things. LOGGERHEAD consists of up to twelve members and the band plays a crushing and atmospheric style of music that incorporates elements of doom, psychedelic metal, sludge, and stoner metal within their sound. Musically, LOGGERHEAD can be loosely compared to bands such as Ancient Sky, Drug Cult, Pallbearer, and other like-minded bands. Depths is the band's debut LP, which was released on June 18th, 2018. On Depths, LOGGERHEAD offer up five tracks of dark, ominous, oppressive, and atmospheric sounding doom, psychedelic metal, sludge, and stoner metal. Overall, Depths makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Enjoy!
