Northwoods is a three piece band from Perugia, Italy who formed in early 2016, from the looks of things. Northwoods features members of Vento D'ottobre, (A)TOLL and Desource. Northwoods cite Converge, Mastodon, and Botch as influences, which definitely shows up in the band's sound and style. Northwoods play a killer style of metallic modern hardcore. Since forming in 2016, Northwoods have released a self-titled three song EP in July of 2016. Wasteland is the band's debut t LP, which was released on June 1st, 2017. On Wasteland, Northwoods offer up eight tracks of brutal and chaotic sounding metallic hardcore. Overall, Wasteland makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed.
