Desalmado (translates 'soulless' or 'heartless') is a 4-piece band from Sao Paulo, Brazil which was formed in 2004 under the name El Fuego. Desalmado are today at the forefront of Sao Paulo's underground scene. Celebrating 13 years on the road with 4 official releases, 2 tours in Europe - 2 casting festivals in Portugal and Spain, and playing numerous gigs throughout Brazil alongside extreme metal legends such as Entombed and Obituary. This band stays true to grindcore, but mixes it with the forward moving power and relentless destruction of modern deathgrind. This is dark, aggressive and nihilistic sounding music.
