Sundrainer is a three piece band from Richmond, VA who formed in 2008. Sundrainer play a vicious and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and grindcore within their sound. Musically, Sundrainer can be said to be influenced by bands such as Pig Destroyer, Discordance Axis, Brutal Truth, and Bolt Thrower. As far as releases go, Sundrainer have released a digital single titled The Eternal Perspective in January of 2014, a digital single titled Failure Burden in March of 2016, and a three song EP titled I Hope This Breaks Your Spirit in October of 2016. Botched Lobotomy is the band's four song demo, which was recorded live in February of 2008. Botched Lobotomy was mixed at Conductor Studios by Martin Brooks, who also currently serves as the band's live bass player. Botched Lobotomy features four tracks of visceral and aggressive sounding instrumental hardcore, punk, and grindcore. Overall, Botched Lobotomy makes for a killer listen and definitely worth checking out. Great stuff! Enjoy!
