D.E.R. is a four piece band from Sao Paulo, Brazil who formed in 2003, from the looks of things. D.E.R. play vicious and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, black metal, and grindcore within their sound. D.E.R. cite Discharge, Bathory, Napalm Death, Repulsion, and Assuck as influences, which definitely shows up in the band's sound and style. Since forming in 2003, D.E.R. have released a split with Norte Asceta in October of 2003, a fourteen song LP titled Quando a Esperanca Desaba in January of 2008, a split with Aberrant in January of 2012, and a split with Test in January of 2014. Rancor is the band's latest EP, which was released via Nerve Altar records on June 23rd, 2017. On Rancor, D.E.R. offer up six tracks of raging, vicious, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, black metal, and grindcore. Overall, Rancor makes for a killer listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
