so ive been really busy with work lately and ive had neither the time nor the desire to look for any new music. been spending time with old favs like jane's addiction, dinosaur jr., deftones, and loads of stp. I did however recently get turned on to these guys. I saw a comparison somewhere of early gritty mastodon combined with the stoned head bobbing groove of kyuss. that's pretty damn accurate. except the vocals...damn... the vocals. this guy is fucking phenomenal. excellent range. blows away brent hinds and john Garcia.  hes recently been diagnosed with lymphoma and is undergoing treatment so they could really use some support. copies of the newest album, 2016s "the death of all things" can still be found on ebay and discogs and of course theres always bandcamp.
