Prawn is a four piece band from New Jersey who formed in 2008. Prawn play a catchy, upbeat, and energetic style of music that incorporates elements of punk, emo, and indie rock within their sound. Musically, Prawn can be said to be influenced by bands such as Sunny Day Real Estate, Jawbreaker, Seaweed, Knapsack, and The Jealous Sound. Since forming in 2008, Prawn have three full-length LPs, five EPs, a split with Joie De Vivre, and a 3-way split with Droughts, Frameworks, Prawn, and Kittyhawk. Run is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Topshelf records on September 22nd, 2017. On Run, Prawn offer up eleven tracks of energetic and catchy as hell sounding punk, emo, and indie rock. Overall, Run makes for an amazing and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended!
