Pure Disgust are a five piece band from Washington, D.C. who formed in 2013. Pure Disgust play a killer style of stripped-down, bare bones style modern hardcore. Pure Disgust's sound is blistering and heavily influenced by late 70's era UK punk. Musically, Pure Disgust can be loosely compared to bands such as Hounds Of Hate, Boston Strangler, and CREEM. Since forming in 2013, Pure Disgust have released a self-titled demo in September of 2013, and a six song EP titled Chained in April of 2015. This is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released on July 13th, 2016. On their self-titled debut, Pure Disgust offer up ten tracks of snarling, vicious, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore/punk. Overall, this is a killer LP and should not be missed.
