Dead Seas is a five piece band from Burlington, VT who formed in 2014, from the looks of things. Dead Seas play a brutal, heavy, and slightly melodic style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, metal, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Dead Seas can be loosely compared to bands such as Killing The Dream, The Hope Conspiracy, Hollow Earth, Hundredth, and Defeater. Since forming in 2014, Dead Seas have released a digital single titled Keepsake in June of 2014 and a five song EP titled Into The Fray in March of 2015. Compass is the band's latest five song EP, which was released on May 26th, 2017. On Compass, Dead Seas offer up five tracks of brutal and slightly melodic post hardcore, punk, metal, and noise rock. Overall, Compass is a decent EP and definitely worth checking out. Enjoy!
