Skalp is a new band from Bologna, Italy who formed in early 2017, from the looks of things. Skalp play a raw, filthy, and dirty as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat within their sound. As far as musical comparisons are concerned, Skalp can be loosely compared to bands such as No Power, Tragedy, Impalers, Vaaska, and other like-minded bands. This is the band's debut six song cassette, which was released on March 2nd, 2017. On their self-titled debut EP, Skalp offer up six tracks of raging and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat. Overall, this is a killer EP and definitely worth checking out.
