Seminary is a Calgary, Alberta based band who formed in 2011, from the looks of things. Seminary play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, metal, and grindcore within their sound. Musically, Seminary can be said to be influenced by bands such as Pig Destroyer, Napalm Death, Pg. 99, Fulgora and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2011, Seminary have released an eight song EP titled The Bow in July of 2011, a two song EP titled Games in March of 2012, a digital single titled Ash Prism in October of 2013, and a digital single titled Cured in April of 2015. Automnymous is the band's latest twelve song EP, which was released on January 20th, 2017. On Automnymous, Seminary offer up twelve tracks of harsh, caustic, and technically proficient hardcore, punk, metal, and grindcore. Overall, Automnymous is a killer EP and should not be missed.
